I'm currently trying my hardest to fight off a cold that hasn't even arrived yet. I never get sick, and my health and fitness goal for this year was to not get seriously ill, or to only get a cold once. It sounds ridiculous but I haven't been sick since I started at the gym (September last year), so this is really damaging my ego more than anything hahah.
I always go by the saying that there's a natural cure for everything/anything. I never take panadol or medication, only natural remedies and a healthy diet for me. Eg. if I have a head ache I'll get a massage, drink more water or just rest OR if I feel a cold coming on I'll take garlic tablets and squeeze some OJ freshhhh - no meds needed
Today my boyfriend came over and surprised me with a box of tissues and 4 different kinds of tea (what a sweetheart I know) and the tea, along with his company, is working wonders. I feel better and not one pill was popped!
So, before you go reaching for those meds - if avoidable, try some al-natural remedies. You'll feel better about yourself, and you'll stay better for longer.
