Neglect your scales ladies!

Recently, I've realised how unreliable scales are when it comes to tracking your progress. We all know that muscle is denser than fat - muscle is actually approximately 20% heavier than fat if you want to put some kind of figure on it. We're aware of this, so it puzzles me when people plan on getting fit and toning up - then feel down if that number on the scale hasn't fallen.
Personally, I prefer my body now at ~ 60kgs (and usually heavier some days) than I did when I was ~ 57kgs. I've had a decent amount of people comment on how lean, slim and toned I have been in this past couple of months...little do they know I'm significantly heavier - this, it's evident that scales aren't always a reliable indicator of determining your progress.
I've completely stopped weighing myself now and instead I use other things as indicators, for example - how my clothes fit, what others tell me (usually family members), and past to present photos.
For a while, try not weighing yourself - try to use some of these indicators  Don't rely on weights to track your progress as (from experience) it can be quite damaging to your self esteem and body image.

- In this photo I'm about 62kg

- and in this photo I was about 58kg

I'm not sure about you guys, but I sure know what I prefer!
